My Profile

I was Born in Rugby, England in 1963 and grew up in a village outside Northampton called Long Buckby. Lost my father in an industrial accident when I was aged 9 and have a sister 15 years my elder. Attended Long Buckby infants and junior schools and completed my education at Guilsbough County School. Started work at The Express Lift Company in Northampton in 1979 and moved to Berrywood Road in Northampton in 1985 following my marriage to Tracey. Remained in Berrywood Road up until 1991 and during this time had two children Samantha born in 1988 and Daniel born in 1990, moved to East Hunsbury in Northampton in 1991.

Changed jobs to work in Ireland for Irish Lift Services in Dublin and moved to small town called Naas in 1996, remained in Ireland until 2001 when moved to North Wales to a small Village about 15 miles from Chester called Rhosesmor and worked for Global Lift Equipment. In 2005 my whole world changed when I was diagnosed with tongue cancer.

Now in 2006 I am still working for Global Lift Equipment, I am over my treatment for cancer and take each day as it comes. Cancer has made me appreciate what life has to offer and to make most of every moment you have.
